We have an urgent requirement for a Datawarehouse Test Analyst for a 6 month fixed contract. You will set up and maintain the test environment and ensure new releases of software are rigorously and methodically tested, you will also investigate and track failures found during testing and actively progress resolution and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Datawarehouse test team. Essentials: 5 years minimum experience in a technical testing or development role, 2 years experience of working in a data warehousing environment loading high volumes of data, you will also be an expert in Oracle Database design, storage structure management, accessing and loading remote data and will have a good understanding of performance timings. Tools: Oracle, SQL, PL*SQL (8i or9i) ETL tools (Ab Initio*Informatica) UNIX (shell scripting) working knowledge of Test Director, ISEB or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
